This 1970 Datsun 240Z was built in March 1970 and is said to have been sold new in May 1970 at Economy Car Center in San Diego, California. The seller acquired the car in February 1971 with 10k miles on the odometer, and more than 90k miles have since been added. Finished in 919 yellow over black, the car was moved around California and Texas over the years, and it was stored in the 1980s until 1999, at which point the 2.4-liter inline-six was rebuilt, and other systems were overhauled. The car was soon stored again until 2018, after which the radiator was cleaned and the clutch master and slave cylinders replaced. Additional work performed in 2020 included cleaning and replacing some fuel lines, rebuilding and tuning the dual SU carburettors, rebuilding the fuel pump, repairing the fuel tank, and servicing the rear brakes. The side mirrors and the car is missing the original metal fan and the original fuel pump. The car is completely first paint and is in needs to be detailed!
