S30.ZERO

Our Ultimate Evolution of the S30

At S30.world, we have always walked a fine line between preservation and progress.
While our core mission has been to restore Datsun 240Zs, 260Zs and 280Zs to exact factory condition, we have also dreamt of what could be achieved if every limitation of the 1970s was removed, without losing the soul of the original car.

That idea has now taken shape in what we internally call S30.ZERO.

Built around an original reinforced S30 shell, this car combines years of knowledge from our restoration program with the very best of modern engineering. The body features extensive carbon fibre components, and underneath lies a completely self-developed aluminium suspension system, designed from the ground up for precision, feedback, and control.

At its heart is an RB36 engine, fully made of aluminium and equipped with dry-sump lubrication, ensuring both reliability and performance even under the most extreme conditions. Every system, every component has been engineered for driving pleasure, reliability, and pure involvement.

Visually, however, the car remains unmistakably true to its origins. From the outside it still looks like the Datsun 240Z’s and Nissan Fairlady Z’s we all fell in love with, the proportions, the stance, the purity of the original design.

The car is still in development and won’t be officially introduced until 2026.
Yet, Dino Dalle Carbonare captured a first glimpse of it in a video interview with Jon Prynn, one of the initiators behind the project. We decided not to hide it, instead, we want to share the story behind it.

For us, this project isn’t just about performance or innovation. It’s about showing what’s possible when you blend factory respect with modern capability. When the ultimate driver’s car is built, not by a corporation, but by a small team obsessed with getting every detail right.
