Set on the beautiful waterfront in Connecticut, just outside New York City, Greenwich Concours has become one of North America's most respected automotive events. Bringing together exceptional collector cars, renowned restorers, manufacturers, designers, and some of the world's most knowledgeable judges, it celebrates not only automotive history but also the craftsmanship behind it. Being invited to exhibit is an honor in itself.
A Special Recognition at Greenwich Concours
This weekend, we had the privilege of presenting HLS30-00672, our Masterpiece Restoration, at the prestigious Greenwich Concours.
Receiving the Best in Class award was an incredible privilege, but even more meaningful was the appreciation we received from judges, collectors, enthusiasts, and fellow craftsmen throughout the weekend.
One moment in particular will stay with us. Our class judge, Tim McNair, has spent years judging many of the world's finest collector cars, including some of the most celebrated Ferraris and other concours-winning automobiles. Despite that experience, he told us he had never seen a Datsun 240Z restored to this level of authenticity and craftsmanship.
For our entire team, that was perhaps the greatest compliment we could receive. Recognition from someone who evaluates the world's most exceptional automobiles confirms that the Nissan 240Z deserves its place among the finest collector cars when restored with the same uncompromising attention to detail.
For us, this award represents far more than the restoration of a single car.
It is a recognition of the philosophy behind the S30.world Masterpieces Program — a commitment to preserving the Nissan S30 exactly as it deserves to be preserved. Every spot weld, every panel fit, every finish, and every detail is approached with the same question: How would Nissan have built this car when it left the factory more than fifty years ago?
The journey to reach this level has taken years of research, countless hours of craftsmanship, and the dedication of an international team of specialists. We have learned from original Nissan engineers, studied surviving reference cars, reproduced long-forgotten components, and challenged ourselves to improve every restoration we undertake.
This recognition belongs to every person who has contributed to that journey. Our researchers, craftsmen, suppliers, advisors, and partners have all played an essential role in achieving this recognition.
It also felt especially fitting to receive this award so close to New York—the region where the Datsun 240Z was first introduced to the American public in October 1969. More than half a century later, seeing the car celebrated at one of North America's premier concours events is a reminder of just how timeless the S30 truly is.
We would like to sincerely thank the entire Greenwich Concours and Hagerty team for their hospitality and for organizing an outstanding event. We are equally grateful to everyone who took the time to study the car, ask questions, share stories, and celebrate the legacy of one of Japan's greatest sports cars.
A special thank you goes to Adam Eisenhauer of Garage 44 in Annville, Pennsylvania, our USA representative. Adam coordinated every aspect of our participation at Greenwich Concours, allowing our team to focus entirely on presenting the car. His professionalism, dedication, and support were instrumental in making the weekend such a success.
Finally, we would like to recognize our own in-house videographer, whose work captured the atmosphere, the people, and the details that made this weekend so memorable. Sharing these moments with enthusiasts around the world is an important part of our mission to preserve and celebrate the legacy of the S30.
This recognition only strengthens our determination to continue researching, preserving, and sharing the history of the S30. Our mission has always been to demonstrate that, when restored with absolute authenticity and craftsmanship, the Datsun 240Z stands proudly alongside the world's greatest collector cars.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it belongs to us.
